Ugh.

Working hard to do the right thing can help keep you out of bigger trouble...but it is a dead end by itself.

Striving to be a better person is noble...but it is not Salvation.

Anything mankind is capable of doing...is also capable of his undoing.

Ever get to the point where you feel like you just couldn't fail any worse then you already have...and then you make it a lot worse? I have.

I think it's time we simply give up.

There is no amount of "being good" that can build me a ladder out of the pit I have dug. Maybe it's time to quit trying so hard? Maybe we need to really learn to trust in a Savior?
